If you are free on Saturday 12th May, why not come along to our 1960s night?
There will be lots of fun for all the family!
This is the latest event in our 50th Anniversary year of celebration.
On Thursdays in April and May, we are working through a six-week course called ‘Inside Out’, exploring how we can better serve our community and share the love of God with the people of Glenburn. The course runs from 10-11.30am and 7.30-9pm each week so that as many of our members as possible can attend. Here is the trailer…

| Here are our latest Feeds from Facebook: We're nearly ready for the 60s night tonight! It should be a lot of fun so come along if you can. It's £3 at the door and kids go free. There will karaoke, a quiz, games, food and drink and some photos and film of the way we were back then... those of us who were alive at the time! During tomorrow's sermon from John 19, we'll be thinking about the four Roman soldiers who divided Jesus' clothes between them after they had crucified Him. In particular, the one who got to keep the seamless undergarment, woven in one piece from top to bottom. Can you imagine him when he got home later on, taking off his armour and his own dirty clothes and trying on the robe Jesus had worn? What an amazing picture of what Jesus has done for us - dying in our place and clothing us in His righteousness. Hallelujah! What a Saviour!
Looking forward to welcoming back two former student assistants tomorrow morning - John Miller and Willie John Macdonald who did part of their training with Dr Cameron... a few years ago! This Sunday morning our service will be led by our young people. The theme will be "The Miracles of Jesus" and it should be a great service. All are welcome! Tomorrow, members of the Golden Age Club are going on an outing to Gretna Gateway Outlet Village, stopping off on the way home for high tea at the Buccleuch Arms Hotel in Moffat.
After tonight's service, I met the latest addition to our church family... Shaji and Mini's precious daughter Christa Mary Varghese who was born last week. Lovely to meet her at last after praying for her for so long! This Saturday from 7-10pm we are having a Celtic night at the church. There will be Scottish/Irish music, ceilidh dancing, games, refreshments and karaoke. All are welcome including children. And it's totally free! The next event in our programme of 50th anniversary celebrations is on Friday 3rd February when Johnstone Silver Band will be putting on a concert for us. Tickets cost £5 and you can pay at the door. The concert starts at 7.30pm and refreshments will be served at the interval. This Sunday we are launching the E100 Bible Reading Challenge! All are welcome to our Christmas Eve Watchnight service tomorrow at 11.30pm. Please come at 11pm for mulled wine and mince pies!
